Peel the plantains: Slice off both ends of a plantain. Make a slit down the center of the plantain, just deep enough to slice through the peel. Then peel away the peel. Repeat with the three remaining plantains.
Slice the plantains: Slice the plantains into half-inch slices on a diagonal.
Coat plantain slices in oil: Toss, brush or spray the plantain slices in oil.
Air fry plantains: Air fry plantains at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes. Flip and air fry for another 5-10 minutes, or until both side of each plantain slice are nicely browned.
